Revised Outline for My Research Paper

1. Introduction:
I believe theories and techniques innovated by Carl Rogers would result in greater academic achievement then that of traditional teaching methods of repetition and test taking. Mr. Rogers. Rogers a psychologist, who developed what, is known as “Client Centered therapy” has been asked to speak at dozens of colleges and has held hundreds of encounter groups about his theories in the field of psychology. From this, Rogers has observed the different ways in which people learn and developed a distinct way of educating which he found to work well. Allowing people to learn, explore, create and experiment fosters a greater learning experience and gives way to well rounded individuals. I will exam traditional methods of teaching as well as Mr. Rogers stand point on education and how it differs from that of traditional methods and why I believe we should strive to model his techniques.
